Fans have rallied around Perrie Edwards after she was rushed to hospital in the US while suffering from a ‘gastric problem’.
Little Mix were forced to perform their Las Vegas concert as a three-piece on Sunday after the pop star was taken ill overnight.
“She suffered a lot when she was little and I don’t want anything bad to happen to her #GetWellSoonPerrie,” one concerned fan wrote on Twitter.
Another posted: “I’m so soft for perrie i love her so much i dont want anything bad happening to her #GetWellSoonPerrie.”
The singer, who is yet to make a comment about her illness, is thought to still be in hospital.
“Perrie was taken ill overnight and had to go to hospital with gastric problem,” a source told MailOnline.
“She saw a doctor and was sadly unable to perform.”
Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall carried on with their show at the iHeart Radio music festival, failing to reference where their fouth member was.
Edwards, 24, had posted a photo of herself with boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain just a few days before, showing them walking hand-in-hand while in Liverpool.
The pop star recently faced a barrage of online abuse after fans claimed she tweaked a lyric in hit Shout Out to my Ex to make a dig at ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik during a show in Aukland.
Fans claimed she changed “hope she ain’t faking it like I did” to “hope she ain’t faking like Hadid,” which the band later laughed off.
Edwards and Malik were together for four years and engaged for two. She claimed he broke up with her over a text message.
“It was horrible, the worst time in my life,” she said at the time. “A four-year relationship, two-year engagement ended by a simple text message.
