Pan-Indian actress Aditi Rao who recently made her Telugu debut with Sammohanam is presently shooting for a space adventure film, which is being helmed by Sankalp Reddy. Actor Varun Tej plays the lead role.
The first look and title of this space-film were announced on Independence Day. The makers revealed that the movie has been titled Antariksham 9000 KMPH. Varun Tej plays an astronaut in this big-budget film, directed by Sankalp Reddy of The Ghazi Attack fame.
Antariksham 9000 KMPH’s shooting commenced in April and is being shot in Hyderabad and Bulgaria. It is said that the makers have roped in technicians from Hollywood to deliver quality work on par with Hollywood films.
Recently, producer Rajeev Reddy said, “Varun and Sankalp will soon head to Kazakhstan for month-long training in zero gravity conditions. If everything goes as planned, we’re eyeing a year-end release. Most of the shooting will happen outside India. Initially, we planned to shoot in the US, but now we’ve decided to shoot in Georgia where special sets and rigs are being built. We also plan to rope in stuntmen from Hollywood.”
Produced by First Frame Entertainments, the film also has Lavanya Tripathi playing one of the leads.
