Yes, she’s at Cannes Film Festival having the time of her life on yachts and red carpets, but does she even know who took the Iron Throne, though?
The 44-year-old is the first to admit that she had a ‘mini-meltdown’ in private because the final Season 8 episode has clashed with her promotional activity for new film The Dead Don’t Die.
Joking with Vanity Fair this weekend, Chloe said: ‘I’m very frustrated right now that we’re in France and I can’t watch Game of Thrones.
‘I’m having a kind of mini-meltdown in private. Didn’t see it last Sunday, and then this Sunday … how do we watch it here?’
Game of Thrones wrapped up when the sixth episode of Season 8 aired on Sunday night and New York native Chloe would have got to watch it with the rest of the US.
It will air in the UK on Monday and over in France, Cannes attendees were reportedly ‘scrambling’ to find viewing parties for the Game of Thrones final this weekend.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, viewing venues have become the talk of the 72nd annual film festival.
Earlier this week, Chloe had no shame about putting out a call to find a suitable viewing spot.
She told the publication: ‘Blasting out that you need a means to watch GOT on Instagram doesn’t hurt.
‘I’ve yet to watch last week’s and looking at my schedule now to carve out time. Events like this are so rare nowadays. It’s the joy and rarity of this sort of communal experience that I’m sad to miss.’
Chloe has been busy promoting her new zombie comedy, starring alongside Adam Driver and Bill Murray as a Centerville police officer.
Presenting an all-star cast, featuring Selena Gomez, Tilda Swinton and Austin Butler, the film will be out next month.
