Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp looked to be having a wonderful time as they headed out on a ride in New York City on Sunday.
The Sleepless in Seattle star, 57, and the Hurts So Good singer, 67, appeared to be in a great mood on the daytime outing in the Big Apple as they prepared to board a vehicle.
The When Harry Met Sally star wore a dark long-sleeved top with leggings and dark sneakers while toting a navy Prada purse. She wore her wavy blonde locks down with dark glasses with clear frames, accessorizing with a bracelet.
Mellencamp, the singer of rock classics such as Pink Houses, Jack & Diane and R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A., wore denim blue overalls with a white T-shirt underneath, sunglasses, necklaces and dark sneakers. The rock icon had his short locks pushed back and had a goatee.
Mellencamp earlier this spring finished up a tour in support of his latest album, Other People’s Stuff.
Meg earlier this month traveled to Paris to attend the 350th anniversary of the Opera de Paris at Opera Garnier.
The celebrity couple was first linked in late 2010 after Mellencamp’s parting from ex-wife Elaine Irwin. They split in August 2014, after which Mellencamp dated Christie Brinkley until a 2016 parting.
Mellencamp and Ryan reunited the following year, and on November 8 of last year, the Joe Versus the Volcano beauty announced their engagement in an Instagram post with a sketch of the pair with the caption, ‘ENGAGED.’
The marriage will be Ryan’s second, as she was wed to Dennis Quaid from 1991 until 2001; and Mellencamp’s fourth, as he was married to Priscilla Esterline from 1970 until 1981, Victoria Granucci from 1981-1989 and Elaine Irwin from 1992 until 2011.
Ryan is mother to son Jack, 27, with Quaid, and daughter Daisy, 15, who she adopted in 2005. Mellencamp is father to daughters Michelle, 48, with Esterline; Teddi, 37, and Justice, 33, with Granucci; and with Irwin, sons Hud, 25, and Speck, 24.
