One, two, three … .
John Cena has been counted out by Nikki Bella. Their on-again, off-again appears to be off for good as Bella has canceled their wedding plans for a second time.
It all played out in Sunday’s season finale of “Total Bellas,” but TMZ reports it wasn’t all for show as their friends are saying the split between WWE wrestlers is for good this time.
While watching the broadcast of her E! reality show Sunday, Bella realized just how unhappy she has been the past few months and stood by her call to break from Cena, according to TMZ sources.
She is not dating anyone new and will be focusing on her career, according to the outlet. TMZ also reports the physical distance between the two — Cena was in China while Bella was filming her show — contributed to her decision.
Cena, 41, and Bella, 34, started dating in 2012, and he proposed to her in front of 70,000 screaming fans at Wrestlemania 33 in 2017. They never made it down the aisle as Bella had a change of heart just weeks prior to their scheduled May wedding.
It was long speculated that Cena’s refusal to have children — as chronicled on “Total Bellas” — was the main point of contention between the two. But he changed his mind about starting a family with Bella following their split, and even offered to reverse his vasectomy.
While on a press tour to promote his movie “Blockers,” Cena was also very candid in professing his love for Bella and his continued desire for them to marry.
They reconciled, and their wedding in Napa was back on.
